Every now and again, I get a really clear message when treating a client, and it’s so simple, so genius I wonder why I haven’t been thinking that exact same thing for years.. and I just had to share this one with you..
Coming back to the basics.
When life gets overwhelming, when something falls apart, or your mind is in a ditch
focus on the basics.
Each and every day.
- Eat nourishing foods! You may not be able to control whats happening on the outside, or even on the inside, but give your body what it needs to pull you out of the funk! Colourful food, nutritious food, packet free food, yummy food! Every. single. meal! Also remember how important hydration is for all functions of your body!
- Move your body! Aim for 30-45 minutes, but at the very least 10 minutes of stretches or this 3 minute cardio routine from Ashley Hunt! Exercise gets your lymph (toxic drainage system) moving, it boosts feel good hormones and makes you feel so much better about yourself!
- Connect with one nurturing person a day – in person, over the phone or at least text.. if someone doesn’t reply, try someone else until you at least have a small conversation with someone who makes you see the brighter side of life.
Hit repeat,
every morning.
